Admitted to practice in 1995, Rob is a former Legal Associate to the Chief Judge of the Family Court of WA. Rob commenced practice in his own right in 2003, when he established Crossing Family Lawyers.

He has a diverse practice, with particular interest in farming cases, property settlements, financial agreements and issues relating to children.

Rob has been a member of the Committee of the Family Law Practitioners' Association of WA (“FLPA”), and was Secretary of FLPA for 4 years until he stood down at the end of 2004. He is a member of the Council of Collaborative Professionals WA and has also served on FLPA's Law Reform Sub-Committee. Rob is also a member of the Law Society of WA and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.

He is a former member of the Medical and Bioethical Committee of the Law Society of Western Australia.

 

Vincent Tan

Vincent Tan
Solicitor

Vincent joined Crossing Family Lawyers in 2010 and practises in all areas of family law.

He graduated from Murdoch University in 2006, with a double degree in Law and Commerce (Finance), and was admitted as a solicitor in 2008.

Vincent is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association (WA), is on the Council of Collaborative Professionals WA and is currently studying a Masters of Applied Law (Family Law) at the College of Law.

 



Kathy WakeKathy Wake
Solicitor

Kathy joined Crossing Family Lawyers in 2011 and practises in all areas of family law.

Prior to the completion of her law degree, Kathy worked in the private and public sectors as a paralegal advisor in relation to immigration matters.

Graduating in law at the University of Western Australia in early 2008, Kathy completed her articles of clerkship at the Legal Aid Commission of Western Australia and was admitted as a lawyer in April 2009. During her time at Legal Aid, Kathy practised in both criminal law and family law, her experience extending to child protection and violence restraining order proceedings.

Kathy is a member of the Family Law Practitioners’ Association (WA) and Australian Lawyers for Human Rights.

She enjoys reading and cooking and spending time with family and friends.
